I purchased the M1 as a companion device on the Meshcore network. The M1 works great! I also own an M5 (also great) and the M1 battery is far better, thanks to the nRF processor. The flashing was simple and painless, the device pairs to my phone seamlessly, the dimmable backlight is also a great feature. I have charged once when I got the device and probably have a good 24 hours of use on it and the battery is still at 72% (YMMV depending on duty cycle). I have been recommending the M! to all of my friends who are interested in Meshcore.

This little mesh node is great, low power consumption is nice. Simple to put together, then up and running, I’m getting out and getting responses. Ack…

Got the Muzi Duo about 2 weeks ago with the Super IO. Love it, though the one thing that would make this better is being able to run both 2.4 Ghz and 915 Mhz antenna at the same time (might just be a software limitation). Ended up designing a case with a friend and so far it is running smoothly and it’s built to last.

These should be mass-produced.

I’m amazed by how easy it is to use. The range in the city is only a mile or two, but there are literally hundreds of nodes in the mesh around me. The battery life is around 48 hours with GPS on. The button is easy enough to push and placed, but hard enough that it has never been pushed on accident.
The R1 Neo is pretty, light, and solid. The bluetooth range is normally average but has also disconnected in my pocket once. Generally being 20-30 feet away it will stay connected.

Amazing battery life. Great way to get familiar with Meshtastic (or similar).

Awesome! Works really well, but getting a node at your place or in your car is gonna make it much more far reaching. Super nice, sleek design. Can put it in my pocket and forget about it.

this thing has worked great to just throw in my pocket and go. The lack of external antenna ( range ) is more than made up for by the convenience. It’s easy for my wife to just have, and being a battery pack too has come in handy a LOT
