Top quality item. Print quality is superb, the device is flawless and I'm really impressed with the included antenna too.. So much that I ordered a second one already... I fear for my wallet when the R1 Neo returns! Really nice customer service from Reilly as well, overall I'm really pleased
Reilly was a star when the original shipment failed to arrive. It seems to be a great product in a nice form factor, especially for a newbie like me.
They sent it to thne wrong address
My debit card was billed 1 month and 2 days ago. For the past 12 days, DHL tracking hasn't shown any new updates. It's still showing that it's on its way to the "destination country", in this case Germany. Maybe it will show up before Labor Day since it still has to go through customs once the boat arrives.
Lesson learned: Pick a similar product that is available locally next time. This was the last time I order anything from outside the EU.
I love the radio unit and build quality but after a bit of troubleshooting and field testing the included antenna came in a full 3 dB below the lilygo915 which is already a poorly regarded antenna.
For the price (or even a little more) I would have felt much better if I were getting a well tuned device. If I didn't have a node to compare it too I wouldn't have known why I couldn't reach my local mesh.
